2017 Workbooks

2017 workbooks by Yukié Matsushita

It took me a long time to publish them.

I must be a procrastinator so if I don’t write things down, I don’t do them.
That’s the reason I cling to all my planners.
My pdf planners are on sale at https://www.etsy.com/shop/YukieMatsushita

This year, I designed two more planners: “The Habit Building Journal” and “The 3-DayChallenge”, and I made them into workbooks.

I have been trying to build habits like doing yoga early in the morning everyday. Whatever the reasons, forming new habits is very difficult. So now one habit that I stick to is to show up and check off the "yoga" box on “The Habit Building Journal” after I do my yoga exercises.
I find this quite helpful to see the progress day after day. Marking on “The Habit Building Journal” becames a habit and a game.

Another planner is “The 3-Day Challenge”, which is made to focus on immediate goals hour by hour.
This format allows you to brainstorm a project on the left page and apply the list of actions to take on the time sheet on the right page. It emphasizes the three most important things to do everyday, so that's helpful.
Writing down the list and checking things off in detail is very motivating.
“The 3-Day Challenge” allows to track 12 projects.

In October I was offered a teaching Photoshop job at INSEEC - Business school in Paris. When this opportunity came to me, I could not turn it down, so I signed up to teach 9 classes in total. However, I had never taught a class and I had a very short time to prepare everything. I dropped everything I was doing, like working on animations and blogging, and then I just concentrated on the teaching job. “The 3-Day Challenge” helped me to focus and work on the objectives step by step.

Coincidentally, I became friends with Jerilyn, a retired teacher from Colorado who was visiting Paris for two months. She coached and encouraged me through my teaching experiences.
The preparation of the class was very important and the mind-mapping helped me enormously. Thanks to the step by step planner and Jerilyn, I managed to get through my first teaching job successfully.
At the end of my classes a handful of students came to me and told me how much they appreciated it, so that was a very rewarding experience. Thank-you to all my students who were so patient with me.

So I had been off-tracked from my projects, the progress on "ABC Paris" animations is going so slow. I will work hard to finish it by the end of this year because that's was my New Year resolution of 2016!
Then I look forward to making new New Year resolutions for 2017!

Les plannings “The 3-Day Challenge”, “Habit Building Journal”, and “The 2017 Planner” sont en vente dans ma boutique Blurb!

Le “The 3-Day Challenge” permet de suivre 12 projets.
