J.-Y. thought "Wacom Inkling Digital Sketch Pen" would be a good gift for my birthday, Christmas, St Valentine or whatever the occasion. 
He bought it from B&H as it was on Sale, and asked to be delivered to my mother's address in New York. My mother sent it to me with other care packages and I have receive them this week. Thank you mom and J.-Y. for the gifts!

J.-Y. a trouvé qu'un "Wacom Inkling Digital Sketch Pen" serait un bon cadeau pour mon anniversaire, Noël, la St Valentin ou n'importe quelle autre occasion.
Il l'a acheté en ligne à B&H alors qu'il était en promotion, et l'a fait livrer chez ma mère à New-York. Ma mère me l'a fait suivre accompagné d'autres cadeaux et je l'ai reçu cette semaine. Merci à maman et à J.-Y. pour ces cadeaux !

"inkling" is a quite interesting tool for those who draw or sketch lines, I think I will enjoy using it. 
• It is compact, I can take it to anywhere. 
• It works with any kind of paper.
• You can use many layers on a single draw. 
• You can transfer the files in layers in Photoshop or vector lines in Illustrator. That eliminates scanning process and cleaning up noises after scanning.

"inkling" est un outil assez intéressant pour ceux qui dessinent ou font des croquis, je pense que je vais apprécier son utilisation.
• Il est compact, je peux l'emporter partout.
• Il fonctionne avec tous les types de papier.
• On peut utiliser plusieurs calques sur un même dessin.
• On transfère des images directement vers Photoshop ou des tracés vectoriels vers Illustrator. Ceci élimine le scan et l'étape de nettoyage du "bruit" des dessins numérisés.

Last night I experimented my first line drawings with "inkling" pen in my drawing/painting class. 

Hier soir j'ai expérimenté mes premiers dessins avec le stylo "inking" pendant mon cours de dessin et peinture.

Before you start drawing you have to make sure that the pen is switched "on" and also not to block the view between the pen and the receiver otherwise it does not register correctly.

Avant de commencer à dessiner il faut vérifier que le stylo est bien allumé, et veiller à ne pas bloquer le vue entre le récepteur et le stylo sans quoi le dessin risque d'être incomplet.

I will let you know more about the "inkling" after using it for a few weeks.
